When Kenda and I first started our partnership, she was quick to point out what she wanted, needed and desired in a pair of chinks. As a professional horsewoman and one of the best trainers in the country, she was very involved by sharing her ideas in the design process.
One of the most frequent questions we get is “What is the difference between the Kenda Lenseigne Low Rise Chinks and traditional chinks?” The biggest difference is fit, especially around the upper thigh and the hips. Have you ever noticed a lady wearing a pair of chinks and half of her front inner upper thigh is showing where the leg wrap is? The Low Rise Chinks eliminates that unsightly inner thigh gap!
Secondly the leg wrap is slightly flared at the bottom connecting strap, this makes mounting your horse easier and eliminates the tight binding around your knee. Finally with the soft leather yoke trim, these chinks are designed to hug and fit on your hips while wearing low rise jeans. One of the most frequent comments I hear is “I don’t even know I have them on!”
