I'm definitely going for the blue one, I'm not sure I like the color scheme of the other one, feels a little too old school whereas as the blue one feels modern and inviting. I would suggest adding in some more visual interest though, something to get the viewers attention. Maybe a complementary color? maybe larger more dynamic type? it's really well organized. Good job!

I like your chalkboard layout a lot! I would make the white line a dotted or dashed line and then put a dotted or dashed border around the 4 boxes at the bottom. Great Job overall!

I think both designs are very nice. I think I would have to go with the Chalkboard design. It is more inviting, fun, colorful, and screams SCHOOL! I like the apple. I think the second design isn't as colorful, but I do like the typeface, and layout. Great job!

I like your chalkboard design more. I think it works really well for a school. I like the type you picked for the top and the white chalk line under it. Maybe make the "Home" and "events" type the same size.
