Is there any particular student work from previous semesters that really stuck out to you which you would recommend that we look at?

Eh, I'd prefer to see what you can come up with on your own, but since you asked, here are a few that I remember. I'm using the Spring 2010 semester as an example because before that semester I had students hand code their work with an emphasis on HTML, not design. After that semester, Dan taught the class and who knows what he was up to...
