I'm looking at some HTML tutorials on net.tutsplus.com
Will we need a code editor to play around with HTML outside of Dreamweaver? Or does Dreamweaver have it's own code ed.? Is it just like other code editors?

Re: Code Editor
You don't need a code editor at all to play around with HTML, just a blank plaintext file and knowledge of the syntax.
If you would prefer to use a code editor, there are many good ones out there. Dreamweaver has it's own fairly good code editor built in, and transitioning between it and a text file or other code editor is just a matter of copying and pasting the code.
If you'd like to use a code editor, I always recommend Notepad++ ( http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ ) for Windows and TextMate (http://macromates.com/ ) for the Mac.
