I like the second design. It is very clean and I like the type you chose. You could flip the two horses on the left so that the one is jumping over the home button and so it mirrors the two horses on the right. It would draw more attention to your navigation bar.

I like the first layout. It is a cleaner look and I like how you did the navigation bar. Maybe move the Yale type over a few pixels so it is the same distance on the right as the distance from the top of the page.

I like your first design. I like the space theme and the pink type. I Like the font you chose. Maybe move the eye somewhere else to make the type easier to read.

Both designs are very similar but I think I like the layout of the second one better. I like your colors and the image in the background. Maybe change the body copy type to an easier to read font.

I like your second design. I like how you used the same color as the horse in the rest of your design. Maybe make the horse shoes bigger so they stand out more.
