Your first option really grabs me, the use of bright and dark colors really make the site pop. The way you layout your navigation is amazing as well, I worry you might lose them as you add more.

Bother are amazing looking ideas, the first captures me as your use of imagery grabs me, nice use of it by the way. I would like to see that combine with the layout idea of your second choice, not the color scheme but simply the font layout.

Nice coming to the table with three ideas, your first one seems cleaner to me but I feel more complexity might be needed.

I like both design looks of your choices, but the first one is the one I would lean towards, the squares of the navigation not being in the common area or anything but instead being around the layout for exploration is nice. Curious how you will include others in there.

These feel like they could be combined into something, both use similar imagery and similar layout, aside a few things here and there. However, I would be careful with light font on light backgrounds, hurts the eye.

I like the idea you have for the first one, in this case I think combining the two would be much better, have the computer as a border around the layout of the second, something to play with.

Second choice, the colors and use of imagery for a background really appeals to me on this, I would play with the shape more to maybe curl the borders or maybe even add a bit of transparency.

Your Second choice has a nice and unique layout it feels, however, I would like to see some more imagery, perhaps a banner image?
