Re: Preliminary Critique #2
The chalkboard design is visually interesting and easier to navigate than ol' blue. The chalkboard design could use some spacing to help with visual understanding of the menus and content (not having to look left to right to see everything). The design's typefaces and graphic elements really tie the...

Re: Project Two Prelim
Hi Susie! The "rough_2" design is the stronger one. Although I enjoyed other aspects of the "rough_1" design as well, the rough_2 design is simpler and easier to navigate. The typefaces go well with the design and the overall feeling of the hotel. Although the white font is class...

Re: Preliminary Critique
"Homepage 2", with the printer image is a well put together design. However, for the services page, the first page has more potential than the second one. The text is not contrasting against the photos though and needs help being more legible. Perhaps adding a little color to the text woul...

The dark design is a strong design. It is more easily navigable and readable than the lighter one. More spacing around the characters page titles and images would give it a roomier feel. Overall, the design is fun and interesting!

Re: Lea_Project_2_preliminary_critique
The first design is easier to understand and navigate. The fruit graphics are interesting and fun! The body copy's legibility could improve with a different typeface and if it were in sentence case. The website is straight forward, but also visually playful.

Re: Project 2 - Preliminary Critique
Both designs are strong. The first design has graphics that are visually captivating. The layout is spaced well and looks very clean and sharp. The logo is getting lost in the nav bar a little bit. The color theme goes well with the website's product. Everything looks professional.

Re: [Project 2] Preliminary
The fun, green design is easier to navigate than the sleek design. The contrast of the green and black work great. A bright, flashing .gif could bring in an element of the original website to the redesign. The typefaces work well to add visual interest.

Re: Project two Layout Roughs
The first design is easy to navigate and captures the Yale style more than the second design. To improve the continuity, images on the staff page could be cropped to the same size/ratio. Overall the page layout is interesting, the offset photo on the home page works well for the design.

Although design 3 with the grass is an interesting design, design 1 goes better with the Sweetener Supply company's existing style. The blue colors flow with the existing logo. A more legible typeface in the body copy would improve legibility. The design is clean and straight forward.

Re: Project 2 Roughs
The black from the second design contrasts well with the light pink. Overall, the first design is stronger. The footer text may need more padding. The images work well at supporting the content of the design and are in good proximity to the text. The typefaces add a lot of style and work well.
