I like the style and feel of both layouts. The old paper is cool. Reminds me of a Wanted poster. I think I am favoring the first layout with the cowboy image. That is really eye catching. The navigation is working well on that as well.

Blue layout is working pretty well. Really like the typeface. Organized very well. Layout is good and easy to read.

The type is way more organized in the second layout. But I really like the images in your first layout. So maybe combine those in the layout. Like the typeface you used. Reflects well on your subject. Dragons are cool.
