Re: Project 1 final design
The overall design of the layout works really well with the use of different font colors over different areas of your background image. The black stands out against the lighter blue, and the white is easy to read on the black areas. The larger font is stylized, but still easy to read and it doesn't ...

Re: Project 1 Final
I like the overall layout of the design, and the use of shadows to make the body copy and links boxes stand out against the white background. The only thing I think that could use some tinkering with is the positioning of everything on the page, to me it looks really low below your headline, but I t...

Re: Project 1 Final
I like how your design has a box around the body copy that is slightly off centered, it gives it a unique look that most websites don't normally use in their layouts. The background image really blends well with the overall design, and it appears to be easy enough to navigate.

Re: Project 1 - Final Design
I really like the simplicity of the overall design. It looks neat and clean, but still looks professionally designed. I like how it's very minimal and easy to navigate, but it still looks elegant and not like you put it together in a rush!

Re: Project One Final
I really enjoy the fact that you kept your entire page design in gray scale. The white text pops agains the dark, and sometimes completely, black background image. The only thing is if the background remains stationary and the text will scroll on your page, it may be hard to read in parts of the ima...

Re: Project 1 final design
Hey sorry about the late reply! I like how with this design you kept the colors all very similar using different shades and tints of red, I think that it helps to keep it really uniform! I would have to agree with some and say that the body copy could use some work, i feel that there might be to hea...

Re: project 1 Jared Harper
I really like the simplicity of the second design, and there isn't much to get distracted with. It really focuses on the image and the use of black and white makes it really contrasted (which I enjoy.) I can understand the layout of the first one better, only because the second one doesn't explicitl...

Re: Project 1 Preliminary Critique
I think that out of the two the second design might be a little more interesting. The first one seems to have a lot of extra space around the navigation on the left, and on the second it is nice and constrained. I also like the header on the second design, and using the navigation bar as part of the...

Re: Project One Prelim Crit
I think out of the two I'm leaning towards the second design. I like in the first one how the background image fades into the text box, but the use of black and white makes it a little difficult to read. I also like how on the second one you still have that fading image, but using the navigation to ...
