Re: Project 2 Preliminary

Hi Michele,

I think design2, the sepia one is the best of the two. The picture you chose for the background of the home page is perfect, and the sepia gives it a classy feeling that works really well. My suggestion, like many others is to rethink some of your sizing, especially anything with text.

Re: Project 2

Heya, In the first design, I'm having trouble with the navigation, What's "Diamond DA20 and DA40"? And why are they part of the navigation? Your second design is definitely the stronger of the two. The gold color of the logo and the text box are working well. I also really like the idea of...

Re: preliminary project 2

Hey Ed! I like your different approaches here. I feel like the fix the existing design is much better than the original, but it's still hard to look at. Maybe a little too patriotic. The second design is so much better! I like your thought process, and the images you found to use are perfect! I'm to...

Re: Project Two Preliminary Critique

Hi Stephanie, I'm gonna go ahead and jump on the #2 boat here. I think it's the addition of the extra color from the photo and the logo in the center that make it stronger. I do like the blurry meeting picture from the other design, it gives a feeling of anonymity, which you want for the subject mat...

Project 2 prelim crit

Well, this was a little harder than I expected, I blame Penny... My bad web site is pennyjuice.com The original site is targeting childcare centers, pre-schools, and similar so I wanted to keep that theme in my designs. The design with the kids is pretty rough so please try to ignore the pixel-ation...

Re: Project 1 final design

Hey Ed,

I'm impressed with how clean that image got! You really spent some time on that! I'm curious how it would look with some of the buildings a little more clean like the sky. Nice work!

Re: Project 1 Final

Hi Jared, I can't really tell what's different from the prelim, but I like it better than before. A couple of suggestions, there's a dot on the background image right at the end of the first line of body copy that looks like a period, I read the first line a couple of times until I realized that it ...

Re: Project 1 Final

Hi Brandon,

I like the three images you chose, they work well with your description of yourself. I also like the blue flowy lines at the top, and the matching color of your name. I would suggest making your name bigger, it kind of gets lost up there at the top of the page.

Re: Project 1 - Final Design

Hi Stephanie,

Nice work! I like how you recreated the faceless woman, it's mysterious! I have one suggestion for you on the about page, your picture and your text box but up against each other, creating tension. I wonder if that tension would lessen if there was some space between them.

Re: Project 1 final design

Hi Courtney,

I'm glad you went with this design, I think your improvements are working. I would suggest working on the body copy. There are lines that end, seemingly for no reason, if you tighten that up, it'll pull the page together.
