Re: [Project 2] Live and running!

Zombocom. That's a meme I've not heard in a long time ... I see you went with an "Over 9000" reference as well. Really? https://i.somethingawful.com/forumsystem/emoticons/emot-suicide.gif Your contrast really works well on this thing. I like the diseased feel the interplay between the bla...

Re: [Project 2] Live and running!

Ah, my Project 2 has a problem: the custom font does not load properly in any browser on Macs, which also messes up other visual elements. I'll work on fixing that sometime soon.

EDIT: All problems resolved.

[Project 2] Live and running!

I gave it time, so now here we are. http://www.grc175.com/student/fall_2017/olivia_putnam/index.html OKAY SO. Whew. Project 1 seems to work just fine in Firefox or Google Chrome. Project 2 however, only works properly in Chrome. So, I highly recommend that you use Chrome for intended viewing! Seriou...

[Final Critique] Project 2

Hello! My websites are mostly finished, but I was desiring to hear feedback from this critique before I finalized them and made them live, so as to have less changes to make later. I went with the mostly green design, as it was the popular choice and I felt that the friendlier spirit of it was more ...

Re: Preliminary 2 Roughs, by Francisco

Designs 1 and 4 are the best, I feel. I would like to see some of the more expressive, creative fonts from design 2 in design 4, I think. It could make the very modern, businessy professional design have a little more fun flavor to it. You might also change the shape of the nav bar from a rectangle ...

Re: Project 2 Roughs

Both designs are cute and work well!
The only things I would really say are that the content area could be made as wide as the nav bar, and maybe the nav bar from the darker design could work on the lighter design?

Re: preliminary

Both designs are very nice and unique from each other! They're definitely artsy. I like the composition and organization of the red and white design better, but the blue design is far more friendly and visually interesting. In the blue design, the bright cyan against a white background is hard to re...

Re: Project 2 rough

Both designs are very cute and kid-friendly! I find that, layout-wise, I prefer these two pages: http://www.grc175.com/forum/download/file.php?id=2041&mode=view http://www.grc175.com/forum/download/file.php?id=2042&mode=view Blue is a more friendly color however, and overall the text feels k...

Re: Project 2 Preliminary

These are wonderful, I love your colors!
I feel like the second is stronger in layout and navigation, but the first has stronger imagery. I wonder what it would look like if you took the banner from the first design and put it where the banner is for the second design?

Re: Preliminary Critique

The first design feels very clean, especially its additional page (with the clickable About/Visiting/Calendar/etc.) However, for the main page with the grayscale image of Yale, the crest and text feel crowded. Try shrinking the crest a bit and the type on the left a small amount, and the type in the...
