Re: Project 1 Prelim

Now that's a cool aesthetic there, Alexis. Very new retrowave look. Immaculate vibes. However, I'm not seeing two different designs here, but instead a rearrangement of one design. Of the two, I like the first one's computer layout and the second one's mobile layout. I like the directional depth of ...

Re: Project 01 Preliminary

Fun is right, Breanna. You've certainly captured that. I like your starry night one the best. The background reminds me of one of those star ceiling things that kids rooms have. Great look and feel. Your colors very much make this design. I especially love the gradient background. It makes it look l...

Re: Project01 Prelim

I like your first one best, Rebekah. It's a simple, clean layout that does what you need it to. Your header and footer are doing a good job of framing your content. And your header makes for a great container for your navigation. I actually don't mind the neutral colors. They allow your headshot and...

Re: Project 1 Prelim DR

Wow! That's a lot of roughs, Dani. You like to work . Unfortunately, I only see one design. It's a good one, but I only see the one. You have an ultra clean layout here that does a good job of getting out of the way of the content, but is not so blah that the website becomes boring. I especially lik...

Re: Proj. 01 Prelim

I like your first one, Anastasia. It's cleaner and simpler and it puts Mr. Snuffleupagus front and center. As he should be. That pic works super well to grab the eye, plus it's funny. It does a good job of adding whimsy to your layout and setting the tone. I also like the diagonal edge. That serves ...

Re: Project 01 Prelim

A vaguely incriminating pic? Awesome! Well done, Percy. I'm liking this trend into skeuomorphism this class is heading into. Lot's of fun ideas. You've got a couple of great ones here. I v ery slightly prefer your corkboard one of the Windows 3.1 one, but it's close. I think it's the texture that's ...

Re: Project_1_preliminary

Nice work, Miguel. I like your skeuomorphic sketchbook layout. It's got such great detail. It does a good job attracting the eye to various important pieces of info. The most dominant part is probably your navigation, which is easy to see and use. I like your background images too. It looks like an ...

Re: Project 01 Prelim

Oooh! I like that first one, Tyler. A single page scroller with transparency. Nice! You clearly designed mobile first on this one and it's really working for you. I'm a sucker for well-used transparency and this one does a great job with it. In particular, I like the way it uses transparency to show...

Re: Project One Prelim Work

I concur with you, the scrapbook version is better. However, I still would have liked to have seen a mobile version for your second design. The scrapbook one has a bit of a Dunkin' Doughnuts feel to it, and I'm kinda' here for it. I like your interlocking script headline type and your unusual sans-s...

Re: Project01 Preliminary Work

Oh, I like your second one, Lucio. That background photo adds such visual interest. That image is well selected and says a lot about you. It also sets the design and color tone for the document. Because you've faded it back, it allows the other two visually interesting things to pop out against it. ...
